Pour Tour GuideBy Ollie Gratzinger for Pittsburgh Magazine

Laurel Highlands is promoting local breweries with its new Pour Tour — a passport-based trail showcasing “our region’s rich heritage, agricultural diversity and entrepreneurial spirit,” according to the press release.

The Pour Tour was developed by the Laurel Highlands Visitors Bureau in conjunction with 31 craft beverage makers throughout the three-county region. It’s what you might get if you crossed a scavenger hunt with a bar crawl; you can take the Pour Tour passport to participating sites across Fayette, Westmoreland and Somerset counties, to breweries, wineries, distilleries, meaderies and cideries. For visiting one of the locales, you’ll get a sticker in your passport; when stickers add up, you can cash them in for prizes.
