Denise and Charles Gehringer, Tourism Pathfinder of the Year 2017

The Laurel Highlands Visitors Bureau, the official destination marketing organization for Somerset, Fayette and Westmoreland counties, will present three tourism-related awards at its 59th annual dinner on Wednesday.

Charles and Denise Gehringer, owners of Yoder’s Guest House in Meyersdale, will be honored with the Tourism Pathfinder of the Year distinction. The 12-room guest house caters to bicyclists riding the Great Allegheny Passage, among others. Its Market Square Bakery and Cafe opened this summer.
