History:
West Overton is listed on the National Register of Historic Places as the birthplace of Henry Clay Frick. We are also nationally recognized as a Whiskey destination by the American Whiskey Trail, Whiskey Rebellion Trail, and the Laurel Highlands Pour Tour. West Overton Museums preserves the intact village where the original A. Overholt and Company Distillery was founded, and produces a small amout of craft Rye Whiskey today.
