Calling ALL courageous men of Westmoreland County ... (women and children are welcome too!)
This is the 9th Annual Men's March in Westmoreland County to end all forms of gender-based violence. It is a call to action to our community, and a way to raise much-needed funds to support our mission. This year, we will be back at St. Clair Park in Greensburg!
We invite you to become actively involved in Blackburn Center's mission ... to raise your voice (as you move your feet!) in speaking out against the social norms that perpetuate domestic and sexual violence.
We had 300 people at our inaugural event in April 2011, and jumped to 400 people in April 2012. In 2013, we had 650 people; in 2014, we had over 900 participants. In 2015, we had 1,100 walkers join us in downtown Greensburg! In 2016, 1,138 walkers ran, walked and hobbled through the city. In 2017, more than 1,100 walkers joined us in cold, rainy weather at St. Clair Park. In 2018, we had over 1,100 walkers join us for our event at Offutt Field. This year, our goal is to top 1,500 participants as we head back to St. Clair Park. Can you help us reach our goal?
