Join us on three Saturdays this summer--June 23, July 21, and August 18--for a special program celebrating the life and love held between Albert Gallatin and his first wife, Sophia. The special program will begin at 2:00pm. Admission is free and reservations are not needed.
Sophia and Albert Gallatin married in May 1789. Tragically, Sophia passed away just five months after they were wed. This presentation will explore the life of Sophia Allegre Gallatin as well as the impact she had on Albert Gallatin, revealing the sensitive and passionate side of the prominent politician.
