Overview

A practice that is all about slowing down and opening your body. In a restorative practice, you are guided into light twists, seated forward folds, and gentle backbends with the aid of props that allow you to hold poses longer, giving you all the benefits of deep, passive stretching. Longer held poses are beneficial for both your physical and mental balance, preventing stress and anxiety through rest and relaxation. The only “requirement” for restorative yoga is that practitioners are 100% comfortable at all times. To help make this possible for everyone in class, modifications are suggested for all poses.

 

Open to our guests and the public. Sessions will be held in Touchstone’s Main Lodge. Please bring your own yoga mat.
