Brownsville Light Up Night is a tradition to ring in the Christmas Season on the Friday evening after Thanksgiving.
Brownsville, West Brownsville and Hiller are decorated with luminary, lining the main streets, decorations adorn the poles along Market Street and residents are encouraged to "light up" their homes with their holiday displays.
Local emergency services light up their vehicles for a parade through the area with their sirens announcing the arrival of Santa and Mrs. Claus. The parade ends at one of the Fire Stations where Santa and Mrs. Claus greet the children of Brownsville with special treats.
Brownsville Light Up Night is the kick off for Holiday Tours at Nemacolin Castle, which is decorated as Christmas Past. Join us at the Castle to watch the parade as it passes our gates, walk through the historical Christmas rooms and join us for traditional Christmas snacks.
