The Southern Alleghenies Museum of Art at Ligonier Valley will host a Lunch a l’Art program with artist Tim Engelhardt.
Engelhardt creates works of art in studio and through murals in an effort to uniquely and authentically communicate his story to the viewer. The work he does is built on the exploration of emotional and physical responses to environments and experiences in his life. As he grows and changes, so does his work. Engelhardt thinks of his paintings as a journal tirelessly struggling to remain honest and sincere. During the lunch/lecture, Engelhardt will discuss and share his work and the process with which he tells his story.
Prior to the lunch program will be a meeting of the SAMA Auxiliary at 11 a.m. If you are interested in joining the Auxiliary, please attend the meeting, call the Museum, or visit the Facebook page at SAMA Ligonier Auxiliary.
Lunch a l’Art programs are offered to encourage a greater understanding of various art forms and movements, as well as foster a deeper appreciation for the exhibitions presented by the Museum.
