Instructor Susan Wilson will be teaching students how to make heirloom quality pottery.
Session one “The Basics of Building” will cover the essentials of working with clay; hand building both functional and decorative forms. Building techniques covered will include coil, pinch, slab, and additive/ subtractive sculpting.
Session One will run Tuesday, October 30 through Friday, November 2 from 6-8:30p.m. Tuition is $70 for non-members, + $25 for clay or $56 dollars for members + $25 for clay.
Session Two “Glaze and Firing” will take your newly formed pottery to the next level with a beautiful and durable glaze.
Session Two will run Wednesday, November 14 through Friday, November 16 from 6-8:30p.m. Tuition is $70 for non-members and $56 dollars for members, + $25 for the cost of glazes and firing.
* Please note that these are two separate sessions, thus there are two class fees associated with the workshops.
