Edgar Allan Poe rises for this special appearance! When it comes to influential American writers, there are few more talented or influential than Edgar Allan Poe. Join us for this special October Dinner Theater as we explore the thrills of Poe’s macabre tales. Poe, who was born in Massachusetts in January 1809, is portrayed by literary historian Rob Velella. He will read a combination of Poe’s well-known and lesser-known works. Rob’s sympathetic portrayal of the complicated writer/editor/critic/genius Edgar Allan Poe is based on 15+ years of study of the author and his writings. In addition to reading from both his trademark and lesser-known works, In character, Velella’s Poe explains the process of writing and the meaning behind his tales and poems.

Ticket price includes a menu choice of one of the following
selections:

Boneless Stuffed Pork Chop: Pan-seared boneless pork chop stuffed with apples, toasted bread, apricots and orange miso pan sauce.

Petite Filet and Pan Seared Chicken Breast: Petite filet and
pan-seared chicken breast served with a burgundy reduction.

History Dinner Theater allows visitors to dine on a gourmet three-course meal of their chosing while they are regaled by the historic tales, music, poetry and personal accounts of some of the most fascinating historic figures in the United States.
