Join us on three Sundays--August 5, September 2, and October 7--for a special program about Albert Gallatin and Alexander Hamilton inspired by the pop culture phenomenon Hamilton: An American Musical. The presentation will begin at 2:00pm at the Gallatin House. Admission is free and reservations are not needed.
The presentation will focus on the places in the musical where Albert Gallatin's story can be inserted. The program will also explore the relationship between Hamilton and Gallatin as well as the similarities and differences between these two Secretaries of the Treasury. Fans of the musical (or its music) will enjoy the talk, but visitors who are not as familiar with the show will still be able to follow along and learn more.
