This one-hour tour will include interesting facts and trivia about the former Manos Theatre, a vaudeville and movie house. Guests will explore the many architectural and artistic features of the theatre such as the beautifully restored murals of fairytales painted by acclaimed Chicago artist Louis Grell, and a Vermont marble staircase that leads to the theatre’s second floor. The upper-level mezzanine area boasts golden Grecian marble, classic black-and-white checkerboard floors, and Spanish inlaid tiles. Reservations are not needed for the tours.
