Overview

In this workshop you will explore several different ceramic firing techniques: raku- a 16th-century Japanese low-temperature glaze firing technique, burnishing bone-dry pots with a terra sigillata slip for a saggar, as well as naked raku– a process of combining raku and burnishing, which produces black and white patterns on the clay surface.
