Aaron was born in Pittsburgh, PA and studied at Berklee College of Music, blessed to be guided by teachers and friends through music in his life. Many teachers include Jon Damian, Mark Whitfield, Tony DeCaprio and Ricardo Vogt. It is his joy to teach, and learn through the guitar, to further my understanding of the instrument. Inspired by solo, duo, and trio jazz guitar of Wes Montgomery, Jim Hall, Tal Farlow, Jimmy Raney and Braney Kessel were guitar greats that he listened to early in his study that created an interest in Jazz. Having a respect for tradition, playing in jazz big bands and small trio situations expanded his world to jazz and its beauty. Later, the organ trio music of Dr. Lonnie Smith, Jimmy Smith, and Jack McDuff opened his ears to the capabilities of a guitar sound in a trio group.
