What an honor to have established a legacy of "keeping the arts alive in Cambria County" for half a century, and counting. This once-in-a-lifetime celebration will be an important gala fundraiser that also features our annual Celebrating a Legacy honoree recognition awards. Our special 50th Anniversary Gala is a true celebratory culmination of all those who have made a significant impact in the history of the Community Arts Center of Cambria County.

Bombyx

Bombyx Collective is a diverse group of artists seeking to explore social and ideological questions through creative and experimental movement. Comprised of dancers, aerialists, gymnasts, actors, yogis, performance artists, and athletes, Bombyx Collective moves in ways that defy genre and expectation. Their work in the aerial silks moves beyond circus thrills to an expressive form that is both thought-provoking and emotionally affecting.

Max Fedore

Hailing from Johnstown, PA, Max Fedore is an accomplished artist and understated star. The Richland High School graduate won the competitive gold award at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences 44th annual Student Academy Awards ceremony in Hollywood, for his Opera of Cruelty, which was his thesis film for New York University’s Tisch School for the Arts. With a repertoire spanning live concerts in New York and Hollywood, to winning prestigious awards for filmmaking, Max is returning to Johnstown to perform for the Community Arts Center's 50th Anniversary Gala.
