Join us for the 225th Anniversary of the Battle of Bushy Run!

The event will feature the annual reenactment of the two-day battle between the forces of King George III and the confederation of Native Americans. Visitors will have the opportunity to witness the two-day battle first hand and immerse themselves in mid-eighteenth century living.

This year’s anniversary event will have a brand new layout and schedule of events in comparison to previous years. This new schedule consists of morning historical demonstrations, which will include a tactical demonstration and refugee demonstration on Saturday morning and a musical performance and eighteenth century fashion show on Sunday. A single battle reenactment will commence at 2:00 p.m. on both days with the first day’s battle being portrayed on Saturday and the second day’s battle on Sunday.

The program will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday. Guests will have the opportunity to participate in the morning historical demonstrations, attend the afternoon battle reenactments, and of course peruse the eighteenth century military camps, sulter trade area, and museum gift shop.

Tickets for the anniversary event are $10.00 for adults and $5.00 for children. Admission is free to children under the age of three.

To coincide with the new event format, weekend passes are also being sold to allow visitors to attend all of the added demonstrations and both battle reenactments. The passes are $15.00 for adults and $7.00 for children and are good for all event activities on both Saturday and Sunday. All tickets and weekend passes will be available for purchase at the entrance gate upon arrival to the event.
