Mother Earth News has been a top source for all things sustainability for nearly 50 years! This is a great opportunity to interact with experts and participate in great workshops, all in the name of sustainability. If you’re looking to live a simpler and more meaningful life, this is the fair for you!

Stahlstown Flax Scutching Festival - Sept. 14-15

An event celebrating a time before the cotton gin, the Stahlstown Flax Scutching Festival was started to commemorate when families would gather to participate in the laborious task of turning flax fibers into linen. Now in its 112th year, it’s become a fall staple with civil war and revolutionary war militia encampments, food galore and mock Indian raids!
