March is the sweetest month in the Laurel Highlands! Did you know that Somerset County is the largest producer of maple products in the state? The 2020 Maple Weekend Taste and Tour celebrates the maple heritage in the region by highlighting 16 maple camps' hard work and the sweet treats they create! See the process of maple syrup production first-hand and experience all of tasty maple treats you can handle. 

Brewmuda Triangle Bus Tour

Celebrate St. Patrick's Day in the Laurel Highlands on the Brewmuda Triangle Bus Tour! The free bus tour will depart from Helltown Brewing in Export at noon, make its way to Yellow Bridge Brewing and eventually end up at Devout Brewing Company. And then the bus will head back to Helltown to start the tour all over again until 8 p.m. Along with amazing craft brews, each stop will feature something unique like live music and food trucks. Don't forget your Laurel Highlands Pour Tour passport! After his trip, you'll only need five more stickers to get your first prize!

Every month, Stone House Restaurant's Chef Jeremy Critchfield and his team collaborate with The Stable at Watson's Choice and host the International Dinner Series. Each dinner involves unique European cuisine, and in the spirit of St. Patrick's Day, this month's country is Ireland! Friday Night Fish Fry at DiSalvo's Station Restaurant

The Laurel Highlands is one of only a few regions in the United States that celebrates the Catholic Lenten tradition of fish fries, and like most restaurants in the area, DiSalvo's Station Restaurant is happy to be a part of the heritage! Every Friday night, DiSalvo's will serve two options for their Friday Night Fish Fry: Peroni beer-battered cod on a bun served with seasoned fries and coleslaw OR lemon and white wine oven-baked cod served with veggies and cole slaw. And yes, it's as good as it sounds!

Every year, Fallingwater celebrates the residents of Fayette County by offering free admission on three select days, and the first Fayette County Appreciation Days of the year is this Sunday! From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Fayette County residents can enjoy a guided one-hour tour of the Frank Lloyd Wright home nestled right in their backyard as a thank you to playing an important role in Fallingwater's history and supporting its ongoing preservation. Be sure to call ahead of time to reserve your spot!
