Beer & Gear Festival at Ohiopyle - June 15
Gather at Wilderness Voyageurs in Ohiopyle for Beer & Gear Fest 2019! Your $25 festival ticket includes complimentary beer sampling from 20+ local breweries, live music by Half Bad Bluegrass Band. This event is the perfect opportunity to gather with friends, share a few drinks, browse outdoor gear vendors and dance in the streets!
This is a all-day event that you don't want to miss! Fireworks & Food Trucks Festival at Seven Springs features more than 30 delicious food trucks, live music, craft beers and cocktails and 45 minutes of fireworks to end the night. After the fireworks show, head to the Foggy Goggle for the after party!

16th Annual National Road Chainsaw Carving Festival - June 13-15
At the annual National Road Chainsaw Carving Festival, you can watch chainsaw carvers work their magic in front of your eyes. You won't believe the talent you're witnessing! Even more exciting, you can bid on their finished products and the money goes to a good cause. All proceeds are donated to the Somerset County Blind Center.
Pollinator Palooza at Historic Hanna's Town - June 15
Happy Earth Day! 🌎 🌿 🌸 Did you know Historic Hanna's Town is also a county park? In 1969, Westmoreland County and Westmoreland Historical Society joined forces to purchase 180 acres of the original Hanna's Town property and preserve this important early American settlement. Our grounds include historic structures as well as gardens, forests, fields, and scenic views. Come learn about the history of Hanna's Town as well as our beautiful landscapes when we reopen to the public on May 4. #EarthDay
Historic Hanna's Town is offering the opportunity to learn about the relationship between pollinators and native plants in the Laurel Highlands through activity stations and a walk through gardens at Pollinator Palooza. In addition to absorbing info, visitors will also be able to buy flowering plants and honey products and take a guided tour of Historic Hanna's Town.
Children's Living History Weekend at Compass Inn Museum - June 15-16
It's not too late to sign up for @compassinnlvhs 's Stagecoach Adventurers summer day camp! From Monday, July 17-Friday, July 22, students grade 4-6 will get to do activities such as cooking over the fire, playing 19th century games, music and dance, and building their very own stagecoach!
