Laurel Caverns is the only developed cave in the world which has its largest rooms and passages completely in their original state. Go on a spelunking adventure at Laurel Caverns, and see the cave completely in its natural state. Explore two spelunking passages, which traverse about 45 stories between them.

Twelve OaksTwelve Oaks Restaurant & Tavern
Twelve Oaks Restaurant & Tavern, of Brownsville, PA, serves up some delicious southern cuisine, hospitality, elegance, and charm. Dining at Twelve Oaks is an experience, with the excellent wine and craft beer selection and fabulous creations from the chef. The subtle pineapple décor appears in every room; see if you can find them all. 

Green GablesGreen Gables Restaurant
Chef Susan Kroft prepares each meal with the freshest ingredients available; some are grown in the gardens at Green Gables. The menu features contemporary American, gourmet creations, from delectable small plates to inspired entrees with an excellent collection of wine to pair. A Wine Spectator award-winner, Green Gables is the perfect place to savor fine wines. Be sure to sample some wines or beer at one of their tastings. 

Patriot Park Emporium
As the weather starts to turn to the warmer, we start to crave some icy-sweet treats. Get some hand-dipped ice cream at Patriot Park Emporium. Also, be sure to grab a hoagie while you’re there.

Ligonier Country MarketLigonier Country Market, opening May 21st, will be open every Saturday until October 8th. Whether they “make it, bake it, or grow it,” you’ll find fantastic wares and goods from vendors and artisans including jewelry, soaps, candles, pottery, and more. Buy fresh produce and foods made, raised, and grown here in the Laurel Highlands, from fruits and flowers to cheeses and meats.

Somerset County Farmers Market, a producer-only tailgate market at the Georgian Place in Somerset. Support local farmers, and buy fresh, quality produce and goods. 

Backyard GardensBackyard Gardens Market
Take home a jar of Backyard Gardens’ sweet and hot pepper mustards made with banana peppers, jalapenos, or habaneros. Statler’s Fun Center
Feel the adrenaline rush as you race around the tracks and back around turns on go-karts. The 1528 foot track has an over-and-under bridge, making it the largest and most thrilling track in the area.
