In the early 1900's there were more millionaires per capita in Scottdale, Pa than in any other city in the United States. This time period certainly left its mark on the town which can be seen through the beautiful historic homes and buildings located in and around the town. The present day town if filled with unique shops and restaurants. There are also cultural activities including a historic opera house that offers live theatrical productions and a museum that encompasses a whole 1800's industrial village.
