Fay-Penn Economic Development Council
Fay-Penn Economic Development Council exists to support businesses and maintain partnerships with federal, state, local and regional organizations to enhance the economic development within Fayette County. To achieve our mission of “maintaining and increasing employment opportunities in Fayette County in an effort to improve the quality of life for all of its residents”, Fay-Penn provides several services to current and potential businesses located within our county. The services offered include financial assistance through our revolving loan funds; business development and technical assistance to start-up or expanding businesses; site selection services to attract new businesses and assist existing businesses with expansion efforts; partnering with local high schools as well as trade schools and colleges to ensure a skilled, viable workforce; and helping to create a sustainable community through the Buy Local initiative, annual Farmers Markets and our involvement in national agriculture policy reform.
