Steelers Training Camp

The Pittsburgh Steelers have won more Super Bowls (6) and AFC Championship Games (7), and hosted more conference championship games (10), than any other team in the National Football League.
That’s an amazing success story. And each year, a new chapter begins right here in the Laurel Highlands, at Pittsburgh Steelers Training Camp.

Ever wonder what it takes to be a Super Bowl Champion? Visit Pittsburgh Steelers training camp in Latrobe, PA and find out.
The Laurel Highlands offers Pittsburgh Steelers fans the opportunity of a lifetime; a chance to see their favorite players "up close and personal," attend Steelers autograph signings, and take in all the sights and sounds of top professional athletes honing their skills during summer training camp.
Pittsburgh Steelers training camp is regarded as “one of the most fan-friendly in the NFL,” so it's little wonder that thousands of people make the pilgrimage each year and generate some of the league's largest daily training camp crowds.
But besides the most basic set of expectations, visiting Pittsburgh Steelers training camp is so much more — a combination of experiences that has no equal, in pro football or any other American professional sport.
Visit the "most picturesque camp in the NFL"

Bring a camera; you'll need it. Pittsburgh Steelers training camp is the most picturesque camp in the NFL. You can stand on the hill atop the practice fields and stare into the Laurel Highlands. The setting is key. Hosted in Latrobe, PA, at St. Vincent College (America's oldest Benedictine institution of higher learning), the training camp itself is just one part of a very distinctive whole. As Peter King of Sports Illustrated put it, “You might see a monk, in robe, walking around the St. Vincent campus."
Of course, the St. Vincent campus is an attraction all by itself. Self-guided walking tours are available, and they can include a stop at an historic gristmill and coffee shop.

The Steelers Experience for Kids
Another major factor is The Steelers Experience. This kid-friendly program takes place during afternoon open practice days at an adjacent football field on the St. Vincent campus. Players, coaches and other team personnel host and participate in simulated practice sessions, games and exhibits that give young fans their own special taste of Pittsburgh Steelers Training Camp. It’s also a great opportunity for kids to get their favorite Pittsburgh Steelers autograph signed.
The Steelers Experience usually opens an hour and a half before practice begins and lasts one hour after practice ends (about 1:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.) on open camp days.
