The lyrical comedy Twelfth Night has always been one of Shakespeare's most accessible and popular works. In the play, a love triangle results from shipwrecked Viola disguising herself as the boy Cesario who finds employment with the Duke of Illyria, a gentleman who longs for the love of a neighboring countess. Then Viola/Cesario falls in love with the Duke and the countess finds herself suddenly smitten with Viola/Cesario. To add to the farce, Viola/Cesario's twin brother arrives on the scene. The plot illustrates jealousy, mistaken identity, cross-dressing and features an array of colorful characters (including Toby Belch) as well as fights and duels.

Political insanity at its best! Back for another season, these former Senate staffers have set out to satirize the very people and places that employed them. Together the Capitol Steps have worked in a total of 18 Congressional offices and now they work at making us laugh. Their latest album is entitled, “Liberal Shop of Horrors.” With constantly updated material, the Capitol Steps tackle both sides of the political spectrum while putting the “MOCK” in democracy.
