From June 12 through 16, the Museum will offer “An Exploration of Art through Nature.” Led by art educator Shane Stofko, children will learn to explore the world around them while developing their artistic skills. Campers will use everyday objects found in nature to create exciting and interesting works of art. The camp is designed for ages 5 to 9 and will conclude with an art show and reception for the campers’ friends and family on Saturday, June 17. The camp will be held from 9 a.m. to noon and costs $125 per child, which includes materials and snacks.

SAMA’s art camps are taught in small, informal groups to foster each child’s creativity, personal growth and interest in the arts.

Registration is required by June 6 and includes a $25 non-refundable deposit. For registration or additional information, please call the Museum at (724) 238-6015.
