Running; The Yoga Way

Join Cortny Kennick, E-RYT 200 and running enthusiast, for a yoga workshop geared to enhance your running, decrease your chance of injury, and to find more enjoyment in your running! Class will be held at our Ligonier studio on November 20th from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.!

This workshop includes:

  • Breathing exercises to connect with the mind and body
  • Meditation to conquer the mind for a more positive run
  • Myofascial release (must bring your own foam roller)
  • Yoga warm ups designed for pre-run
  • Yoga cool downs designed for post runs to stretch and restore/rejuvenate muscles
  • Yoga sequencing to increase strength in all areas of the body
  • Principles of Chi Running
  • Foot stretching and strengthening (to release pain of plantar fasciitis, help create stable arches in the feet, and much more!)
