Laurel Arts and the Somerset Historical Center are partnering to present a wide variety of historical and contemporary fiber arts techniques and information to the public during a one-day symposium. "Common Threads" will take place at the Somerset Historical Center on Saturday, April 22nd, 2017. Keynote speaker Melinda Zonger from the National Museum of the American Coverlet will be featured along with many regional fiber artists who will be displaying and/or selling their art, demonstrating specific techniques, or providing hands-on activities for participants. My Girls Deli & Catering will be on site to provide boxed lunches for $10 each.
