Dear Friends and Community Members:
Did you know that we have children in our schools – the children of our friends, neighbors and relatives - that have no food after they eat lunch on Friday afternoon until they return to school on Monday? In its seventh year, the NORWIN ROTARY BACK PACK PROJECT has provided these children with back packs full of nutritional, kid-friendly food that will sustain them for an entire weekend. The annual Norwin Rotary Chili Cookoff & Wing Thing is our primary fundraiser to provide funding for the Norwin Rotary Back Pack Project.
The Norwin Rotary Club has joined with the Irwin Business and Professional Association to put on the Chili Cookoff & Wing Thing to benefit the Norwin Rotary Back Pack Project! Together, we are hosting an admission-free Chili Cookoff & Wing Thing in Irwin to raise money for the Norwin Rotary Back Pack Project, and we are challenging YOU to enter your best chili and/or wings to compete for trophies, bragging rights, fun, but most importantly, to help feed the children! We need you to participate; the children need you to participate!
Please help us by participating in our 7th Annual Norwin Rotary Chili Cookoff & Wing Thing to raise money for this worthwhile project. There are three ways you can help: 1 - Be a sponsor! 2 - Enter a team to make chili and/or wings! 3 - Join us on Thursday, March 2nd, at various locations in Downtown Irwin to sample the chili and wings, and vote for your favorite! Help us to help the children in our community today, so they will know that their community cares about them. It is up to us, all of us, to show them what community means!
ALL PROFITS BENEFIT THE NORWIN ROTARY BACK PACK PROJECT!
