Market invites public to help with clean-up
Ligonier Country Market will hold its annual clean-up day on Saturday, May 6, beginning at 8 a.m. Market supporters and teens looking for a service project are invited to join vendors, board members, and staff in trimming brush, raking paths, and picking up debris at the site, located on Springer Road, just below the Loyalhanna Watershed Association barn.
All new vendors are invited to help with clean-up or meet at the site that day, May 6, at noon to walk the site and familiarize themselves with placement of vendor spaces. Any returning vendors willing to serve as mentors to the new sellers are also asked to attend at noon.
Market opening day is Saturday, May 20, from 8 a.m. to noon, with lots of special activities and features planned. For more information about Ligonier Country Market you may access the newly upgraded website here or phone executive director Cari Frei at 724-238-7894.
