Celebrate National Sandwich Day in the Laurel Highlands, and pick up your favorite at one of these great places.

Did you know that the sandwich is said to have been created by John Montagu, 4th Earl of Sandwich? Little did he know that his desire to eat his meal with one hand while spending twenty-four hours gambling would result in such a wide spread menu staple. While the story may not be 100% accurate, the name stuck.
